Curriculum
The Neurology program has a full didactic schedule which includes Lectures, Grand Rounds, Board Review and Journal Club. Some didactics such as Tumor Board are held in conjunction with the Internal Medicine program. Scholarly endeavors are an integral part of the program, with a research month scheduled in the fourth year to complete a research paper suitable for publication.
The curriculum consists of four years of progressive clinical and didactic experience. Continuity Clinic is held one half day per week. The first year focuses on a strong base of internal medicine, medicine sub-specialties, surgery, surgical subspecialties, emergency medicine, and critical care. Other rotations include pediatric neurology, EEG, EMG, neuroradiology, neuro-ophthalmology, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation.
